About Cindy
Cindy Mitchell is the Senior Director of Public Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at the Washington Forest Protection Association (WFPA). With decades of experience, Cindy manages WFPA’s public information program and contributes to the organization’s strategic planning. Previously, she held various roles at WFPA, including Comptroller. Cindy also founded the Rural America Foundation to support flood-displaced families in Lewis County. With an MBA, an MA in Counseling Psychology, and a CPA license, Cindy brings expertise in communications management, strategic planning, and financial management.
