About Jake
Jake Childs joined PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in 2018 as Director of Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and Infusion. He is currently the VP of Operations where he oversees operational services and improvements to deliver high quality, patient-focused care. Departments reporting through Jake include Pharmacy, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Infusion, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Imaging and Diagnostics, Acute Rehab Services and Therapies, and Sleep Services. With more than a decade in leadership roles, prior to PeaceHealth Jake was a Director of Pharmacy for Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. His career also includes time with Novant Health in North Carolina, and the Cleveland Clinic System in Ohio. Jake earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Roseman University of Health Sciences. He also holds a Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from Northeast Ohio Medical University, and a Master of Health Administration from University of Southern California. Involved in the community, Jake serves as a board member for Community Health Partners and, as an Eagle Scout, he has also served as a volunteer leader for Boy Scouts of America.
