About Christopher
Chris grew up in a military family as the oldest of three, with a younger sister and brother. His family’s Navy background gave him the opportunity to live all over the country, primarily on the East Coast. After high school, Chris served in the U.S. Army Honor Guard and later graduated from George Mason University. He went on to work as a contractor with Northrop Grumman, spent time on Capitol Hill, and began his career with the TSA. Chris has held key leadership roles as TSA Director at airports including DCA, IAD, DEN, and PDX. He also served as the Port of Portland’s Public Safety and Security Director. Since 2020, he has been the Director of Operations for PDXNext at the Port of Portland. Chris lives in Washington state with his wife and son. He enjoys spending quality time with family, connecting with friends and colleagues, and stays active with regular workouts and long runs.
