For 100 years, our members have worked side by side with this community: building parks, funding scholarships, planting trees, and showing up whenever Longview needs us. In 2026, we’re celebrating that century of service with a full year of special events. Join us.

Centennial Tree Planting — Giant Sequoia
A giant sequoia gifted for the city’s Arbor Day will be planted at Lake Sacajawea Park to symbolize the Rotary Club’s 100 years of service to the Longview community. Come watch history take root.

Rotary Room Ribbon Cutting — Longview Public Library
Ribbon cutting to open the Rotary Room, a new community meeting room on the main floor of the Longview Public Library. This project was funded and led by the Rotary Club of Longview to commemorate the shared 2026 centennial year of both the library and the club.

100th Charter Anniversary Celebration
On this date in 1926, the Rotary Club of Longview received its charter from Rotary International headquarters in Chicago exactly 100 years ago. Rotarians will gather to mark this milestone and reflect on a century of community service.

Tour de Blast — Centennial Cycling Ride
The annual Tour de Blast cycling endurance ride takes riders through the dramatic Mount St. Helens volcanic zone. Hundreds of cyclists from across the Northwest are expected for this beloved annual event with extra centennial significance in 2026.

Rotary Presidents’ Dinner
The annual Presidents’ Dinner takes on added centennial significance this year as it introduces the club’s new officers for 2026-27. A landmark evening for an organization marking 100 years of community leadership.

Go 4th Festival Booth & Parade Float
Visit the Rotary booth July 2–4 to learn about the club’s exciting campaign to fund a new Martin Dock at Sacajawea Park featuring a bandstand, kayak launch, and revamped spectator area. On July 4th, watch the Rotary float in the Go 4th parade, celebrating the club’s centennial alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Crafted Beer & Food Festival
Rotary’s centennial fundraiser comes to the beautiful Civic Circle at R.A. Long Park featuring local craft beers, regional food specialties, and live music. A perfect summer afternoon celebrating 100 years of Longview Rotary.

Squirrel Fest — Centennial Edition
Longview’s beloved Squirrel Fest moves to a new home the campus of Lower Columbia College for its centennial year edition. This free, all-day event features kids’ activities and vendor booths, celebrating the quirky squirrel history of Longview and 100 years of Rotary community spirit. Free to attend!
